Average Daily Securities Settlement in Q3 Reaches 27.4 Trillion Won, Up 10.2% Year-on-Year
In the third quarter of this year, the average daily securities settlement amount processed through the Korea Securities Depository reached 27.4 trillion won, marking a 10.2% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to data compiled by the Korea Securities Depository on October 16, settlement amounts for stocks accounted for 2.3 trillion won, while bond settlements amounted to 25.1 trillion won.
For institutional investors, the average daily settlement amount related to stocks was 1.27 trillion won, representing a 17.9% increase from the same period last year.
During the same period, the average daily bond settlement amount for institutional investors was 21.6 trillion won, up 7.2% year-on-year.

By detailed bond type, government bonds and similar securities accounted for 12 trillion won, certificates of deposit (CD) and commercial paper (CP) totaled 4.4 trillion won, and short-term bonds amounted to 5.2 trillion won.
