[Today's New Product] Ottogi Launches "Garak Fresh Udon" to Target Winter Refrigerated Noodle Market
Strengthening Product Portfolio with Korean-Style Udon
Ottogi announced on October 16 that it has launched a new refrigerated noodle product, "Garak Fresh Udon."
This new product was introduced to meet the changing demand for noodle dishes according to the season and to respond to the increased demand for udon during the winter. Reflecting consumer preferences, Ottogi has expanded its lineup by adding a clean-tasting "Korean-style udon" to the existing Japanese-style options such as Katsuobushi Sanuki Udon and Fried Tofu Udon.
The new "Garak Fresh Udon" features thin, soft fresh noodles that deliver a chewy texture as if freshly made. The product is generously topped with a variety of ingredients including fried tofu, crown daisy, green onion, seaweed, and red pepper powder. With the separately packaged red pepper powder, consumers can adjust the level of spiciness to enjoy either a mild or a spicy flavor according to their preference. The refreshing yet spicy broth pairs well not only as a meal but also as a side dish or a hangover remedy. The product is currently available for purchase through Ottogi's official online store "Ottogi Mall" as well as various online and offline distribution channels.
