Korean Standards Association Steps Up to Expand AI Industry and Strengthen Corporate Competitiveness
Business Agreement Signed with the Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Project Group
The Korean Standards Association announced on October 15, 2025, that it had signed a "business agreement to support the expansion of artificial intelligence adoption and utilization and to strengthen corporate competitiveness" with the Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Project Group at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju.

View original imageThis agreement aims to promote the use of artificial intelligence (AI) across the domestic industrial sector by linking the expertise and infrastructure of both organizations amid the nationwide trend of building an AI innovation ecosystem. The association possesses expertise in standards and quality, while the project group has industrial and talent infrastructure based on the AI cluster. By connecting these strengths, the association and the project group plan to jointly drive the spread of AI in domestic industries and enhance the global competitiveness of companies.
The two organizations have agreed to cooperate in various areas, including: jointly planning and operating growth support programs for scaling up AI startups; promoting open innovation with large and medium-sized enterprises; fostering specialized talent; and supporting overseas expansion and responses to international standards.
They also plan to accelerate the adoption and utilization of AI in the domestic industrial sector by jointly strengthening policy responsiveness in the AI industry, building and expanding demonstration infrastructure, and ensuring reliability based on standards.
