The police have launched an investigation after receiving a report that an explosive device had been planted at Lotte World in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
The Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they received the report at around 12:05 p.m. on October 15 and are currently tracking down the suspect, identified as Mr. A.
It has been reported that Mr. A sent a text message stating, "If you do not transfer 100 million won, the bomb installed at Lotte World will explode," and included a bank account number for the deposit. The message also claimed that a bomb had been planted at Everland in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.
