Yangju City to Hold Social Welfare Expo on the 25th: "Doing Our Best to Provide Welfare Services"
Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province will host the '2025 Yangju City Social Welfare Expo' on October 25 at the Okjeong Lake Park area to commemorate the 26th Social Welfare Day.
At this expo, 29 welfare institutions and facilities from the city will operate experience and service promotion booths to inform citizens about a variety of social welfare services related to children, youth, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
In addition, a range of programs will be held to provide citizens with an easy and enjoyable way to experience social welfare, including the Welfare Golden Bell quiz, celebratory performances (such as traditional percussion and band performances), and a walking event for people with and without disabilities to participate together.
An official from Yangju City stated, "We hope many citizens will participate in this Social Welfare Expo," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide welfare services that local residents can truly feel and relate to."
