Ansan City to Launch "Siwaho Marine Leisure Experience" from the 17th
Starting from October 17, the city of Ansan in Gyeonggi Province will operate the "Siwaho Marine Leisure Experience" program at the Ansancheonha Harbor dock on Siwaho Lake.
This program was organized in response to suggestions from local residents and aims to utilize the idle Ansancheonha Harbor dock located in Choji-dong, Danwon-gu. The city will operate this program using joint commemorative project funds for Siwaho Lake, in collaboration with Korea Water Resources Corporation.
The program is available to Ansan citizens free of charge. Through the program, citizens will board party boats on Siwaho Lake, where they will be informed about the importance of Siwaho Lake policies.
The program will begin its first operation on October 17 and will run every week from Thursday to Sunday until November 16. However, the schedule and operating hours may change depending on tidal conditions and weather, so participants are advised to check when making reservations.
The city plans to expand marine experience programs that can be enjoyed in urban areas, including the existing marine leisure sports education program and the Ansan Marine Academy.
For reservations and more information about the marine leisure experience, please refer to the "Ansan Bada" website or contact the Gyeonggi Marine Leisure Association.
