Lee Jehoon, Kim Euisung, Pyo Yejin, and Others Reunite
The popular SBS drama "Taxi Driver" will return next month with its third season.
On October 13, SBS announced that the new Friday-Saturday drama "Taxi Driver 3" will begin airing on November 21. The series follows the secretive taxi company Rainbow Transportation and taxi driver Kim Dogi (played by Lee Jehoon) as they deliver justice by carrying out acts of private revenge on behalf of wronged victims. Season 1, which aired in 2021, achieved a peak viewership rating of 16.0%, while season 2, broadcast in 2023, reached 21.0%, establishing a solid fan base.
The drama has also gained popularity among global audiences, winning the Best Drama Series award at the Asian Television Awards (ATA), Asia's most prestigious media awards, last year.
This season, returning cast members Lee Jehoon, Kim Euisung, Pyo Yejin, Jang Hyukjin, and Bae Yooram will reunite. The script is written by Oh Sangho, who has been behind the "Taxi Driver" series, and the direction is led by Kang Boseung, known for "Dr. Romantic 3."
