After the announcement of the concert by Jin, a member of the group BTS, some lodging facilities near the venue have come under fire for significantly raising their prices. In some cases, prices were increased by up to 20 times.

On October 3, posts titled "Lodging Facility Raised Prices 20 Times and Called to Cancel Reservation After BTS Jin Concert Announcement" appeared on social networking services and online communities.

The author, identified as A, wrote, "My reservation was confirmed, but the booking site called to say the price was incorrect and offered to cancel it." The author added, "Even during holidays, the price is at most 80,000 won, but it was listed at 1,075,000 won," and posted a screenshot showing the price for the relevant period.

This user had booked the accommodation for around 50,000 won, including discounts. Considering that the regular weekday price was 45,000 won, the price was raised by more than 20 times.

Subsequently, it was reported that the accommodation adjusted its price to the 300,000 won range. However, this is still nearly 10 times higher than usual.

Previously, during BTS's special free concert in 2022 to promote the 2030 Busan World Expo, there were also reports that some lodging facilities unilaterally canceled reservations around the concert dates. At that time, the Busan city government convened institutional meetings to come up with countermeasures. In addition, the issue of "overcharging" by lodging facilities during major events or periods of high demand has been repeatedly pointed out.

Meanwhile, Jin will hold encore solo fan concert tour performances at Incheon Munhak Stadium Main Stadium on October 31 and November 1. Starting in Goyang last June, Jin met fans in a total of 18 concerts across 9 cities, including stops in Japan, the United States, and Europe.
