Prime Minister Kim Minseok expressed his profound sorrow on the 3rd regarding the death of a Ministry of the Interior and Safety official responsible for the national data network outage, who was found dead at the Government Complex Sejong. He stated, "I am overwhelmed with grief at the heartbreaking news of the loss of a valued public servant."
Through a Facebook post on this day, Prime Minister Kim said, "I extend my deepest condolences for the deceased and offer heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family enduring such great sorrow."
Prime Minister Kim added, "The late official worked tirelessly day and night to restore the national data network after the fire at the National Information Resources Service. I am even more heartbroken when I think of the dedication and hard work he put in." He continued, "I also extend my deepest condolences to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety officials who must be devastated after losing their colleague."
