Taebaek City Launches "Travel in Autumn" Tourism Discount Event for Visitors
Attracting Autumn Tourists with Discounts on City Tour Buses and Tourist Taxis
Taebaek City in Gangwon Province (Mayor Lee Sangho) announced on October 2 that it will participate in the "2025 Travel in Autumn" campaign led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and will offer special discount events throughout the month of October for tourists visiting Taebaek.
This event has been organized to spread the atmosphere of autumn travel and boost tourism spending. It is a tourism transportation support event designed for easy participation by both family groups and individual travelers on foot.
The city will provide a 50% discount on Taebaek City Tour Bus tickets and a 10,000 KRW discount on tourist taxi fares, regardless of age or time of use. Through these benefits, tourists are expected to enjoy Taebaek’s autumn attractions more conveniently and at a lower cost.
In particular, the city tour bus is ideal for families and group tourists as it allows for a convenient one-day tour of Taebaek’s main attractions, while the tourist taxi is expected to be popular among small groups seeking customized travel courses.
