Y2 Solution Nurtures Robotics Talent Through Training Center
Y2 Solution announced on October 1 that it has opened a Universal Robots (UR) and MiR training center at its Seoul office through its subsidiary, HRT Robotics.
This move is significant not only for expanding its sales base but also as an advanced hub for nurturing industrial automation specialists and spreading the robotics ecosystem. Notably, this is the first time a training center for MiR, a global leader in the autonomous mobile robot (AMR) sector, has been established in Korea.
HRT, as an official partner of Universal Robots, a global leader in collaborative robots, offers UR-certified training programs to enhance the utilization of robots in corporate environments. By establishing the MiR training center, the company is proactively responding to the surging demand for AMRs in manufacturing and logistics, thereby leading the market expansion.
The newly opened training center is equipped with a hands-on training infrastructure and systematically provides education on robot programming, operation, and safety to industrial engineers, students, and startups. Since many participating companies go on to actually adopt these solutions, the center is also expected to serve as a channel for securing potential customers.
Mangu Kim, CEO of HRT, stated, "The opening of the training center marks a turning point for HRT, elevating us from simply supplying robots to becoming a leading robot system integrator (SI). We will also establish a second training center at our new Daegu factory, which will be completed this month, to build a nationwide training network."
