Hyundai Motor Sells 372,298 Units Last Month... Overseas Sales Up 6.4%

Hyundai Motor Company announced on October 1 that it sold 372,298 vehicles last month, driven by strong sales of key models such as the Santa Fe and Grandeur. This represents an 8.3% increase compared to the same month last year.
Domestic sales reached 66,001 units, marking an 18.3% increase from the same period last year.
For sedans, the company sold a total of 18,517 units, including 5,398 units of the Grandeur, 4,787 units of the Sonata, and 7,675 units of the Avante. In the recreational vehicle (RV) segment, a total of 26,475 units were sold, including 4,070 units of the Palisade, 5,763 units of the Santa Fe, 5,130 units of the Tucson, 3,586 units of the Kona, and 2,144 units of the Casper.
In addition, 5,325 units of the Porter and 3,101 units of the Staria were sold, while a total of 2,735 medium and large buses and trucks were delivered.
Genesis models recorded total sales of 9,538 units, including 3,354 units of the G80, 2,564 units of the GV80, and 2,791 units of the GV70.
Overseas sales reached 306,297 units, a 6.4% increase compared to the same month last year.

A Hyundai Motor Company official stated, "With robust sales of our key models, we are continuing to see year-on-year global sales growth," adding, "We will continue to expand our market share by launching new vehicles with outstanding product competitiveness."
