Hana Securities to Operate Overseas Stock Desk as Usual During Holidays
Hana Securities announced on October 1 that its overseas stock desk will operate as usual during the Chuseok holiday period, allowing customers to invest in international stocks without inconvenience.
Hana Securities supports stock trading in 21 countries. Trading will be available in all markets except those closed for holidays during the Chuseok period. The Chinese stock market will be closed for the same period as the Korean market, while the Taiwan market will be closed on the 6th and the Hong Kong market on the 7th. To ensure customers can trade seamlessly both online and offline, the overseas desk will operate 24 hours a day.
Nam Taekmin, Head of PWM Sales at Hana Securities, stated, "We will ensure the 24-hour desk operates flawlessly so that we can respond immediately to overseas market volatility that may arise during the long holiday period."
