View original imageThe Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on October 1 that the Korea Racing Authority Gwangju Branch had donated 36 million won to support customized integrated care and other welfare initiatives in Gyelim 1-dong, Dong-gu.
The donation ceremony, held on September 25 at the Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae Nanum Culture Center, was attended by Jang Youngwan, Head of the Korea Racing Authority Gwangju Branch, Kim Junghwan, Deputy Branch Head, Park Heungcheol, Secretary-General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, and other related officials.
The Gyelim 1-dong Community Social Security Council plans to use the 36 million won donation to implement customized integrated care services for low-income and vulnerable groups, share kimchi for the winter season, host cultural performances for seniors, and carry out support programs for the Chuseok holiday. Through these various welfare projects, significant improvements to the welfare of vulnerable residents in Gyelim 1-dong are expected.
