Baemin Achieves Small Parcel Delivery Agency Service Provider Certification for Four Consecutive Years

Certified as the First Small Parcel Provider and Maintains Annual Certification
Woowa Brothers Youth, the company responsible for Baemin’s logistics services, announced on October 1 that it has obtained the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s “Small Parcel Delivery Agency Service Provider Certification” for the fourth consecutive year. The certification system for small parcel delivery agency service providers, established by the Ministry in 2021, grants certification to companies that provide safe and convenient small parcel (light cargo) delivery agency services. Woowa Brothers Youth was registered as the industry’s first certified company in July 2022 and has maintained its status as a certified company for four consecutive years, including this year.
During the small parcel certification review, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, together with the Korea Transport Institute and experts from various fields, examines safety training, insurance policies, and service stability. The final selection of outstanding companies is made by a certification committee composed of both ministry officials and private sector experts. Woowa Brothers Youth received high marks for leading the industry in safety by expanding the Hanam Baemin Rider School, a specialized infrastructure for safety training, advancing rider safety education programs, promoting government-collaborative safety campaigns, and launching the “Rider Safety Management Committee,” an expert governance body dedicated solely to rider safety.
