The Gwangju Bar Association (President Ha Jaeuk) delivered a total of 5 million won in donations to five social welfare facilities in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions on September 30, in celebration of Chuseok. Each facility-Sohwa Sisters' Home, House of Hope, Hwasun Jaeawon, Suncheon Women's Counseling Center, and Haenam County Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled-received 1 million won.

The donation ceremony was attended by President Ha Jaeuk, First Vice President Choi Jeonghee, Second Vice President Park Cheol, and First Secretary General Jo Younghee. President Ha stated, "I hope this small contribution helps our neighbors enjoy a happy Chuseok," adding, "We will continue to serve and share with the local community."
