With this completion, Hwanho Neighborhood Park has been transformed into a large green space of over 1 million square meters, combining both the southern and northern sections.
The area, which had remained undeveloped for over 20 years since the creation of the southern park in 2001, was revived as a natural rest and cultural space for citizens, following the agreement in 2020 and the start of construction in 2022, and was completed in just three years.
The newly completed northern park features a pedestrian bridge, botanical garden, sky pond, reading forest, Hwanho Field, and a circular deck, among other facilities. In particular, the botanical garden, together with the Space Walk in the southern section, is expected to become a popular attraction for family visitors.
