Woori Card Launches First Lineup of Premium "the OPUS" Cards
Annual Benefits Increase the Longer You Use the Card
Woori Card announced on September 30 that it has launched the "the OPUS silver" card along with the debut of its new premium brand.
This card is the first product under the premium brand Diopus, which is being introduced for the first time in six years. By analyzing customer spending patterns, the card offers benefits tailored to customers who want to enjoy premium card perks at a reasonable cost.
Shopping and travel services, which are preferred by premium customers, have been enhanced. When spending 500,000 won or more in the previous month, users can earn 2% rewards on purchases made at Korea's top three department stores, as well as online malls such as Coupang.
Additionally, 3% rewards are offered for spending at Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, domestic low-cost carriers, five-star hotels, duty-free shops, and golf courses. At all domestic merchants, users can earn 1% rewards with no minimum spending requirement or cap based on the previous month's usage.
For vouchers, customers can choose one among the following: a discount voucher (for domestic flights, duty-free shops, and golf courses), a hotel dining voucher, or a Shinsegae gift certificate. The selected discount is applied automatically without any extra steps.
The longer customers use the card, the greater the voucher benefits become. In the year of issuance, a benefit worth 120,000 won is provided, and from the following year, a benefit worth 130,000 won is offered annually.
The annual fee for the card is 150,000 won.
