Three brothers who facilitated prostitution in officetels and profited unlawfully have been apprehended by the police.
The Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency announced on September 30 that three men in their 30s, including a man identified as A, were arrested and are currently under investigation on charges of violating the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Sexual Traffic.
The brothers are accused of employing women of Thai nationality at four officetels near Suncheon, arranging prostitution, and receiving between 100,000 and 250,000 won per transaction.
They reportedly divided their roles meticulously, with each brother responsible for tasks such as promoting their services online to attract male clients and collecting the proceeds from prostitution in cash.

The police have confiscated approximately 9 million won in cash, ledgers, and reservation mobile phones from the suspects, and plan to continue investigating for any additional offenses.
