Hanwha Qcells Named to S&P Global's "2025 Tier 1 Cleantech Companies" List
Hanwha Solutions Qcells Division Demonstrates Global Influence
Selected as a Top Company Based on Six Evaluation Criteria
High Scores in "Market Position" Reflect Strong Brand Power
Hanwha Solutions Qcells Division (Hanwha Qcells) has been included in S&P Global's inaugural list of "2025 Tier 1 Cleantech Companies," which was introduced this year by the global credit rating agency.
On September 30, Hanwha Qcells announced that it had been selected as a Tier 1 Cleantech Company in an evaluation conducted by Commodity Insights, an energy market analysis agency under S&P Global. The evaluation scored global solar, wind, and energy storage system (ESS) manufacturers based on six criteria: market position, market share, company size, market diversification, financial indicators, and sustainability. In the solar module sector, a total of 14 companies, including Hanwha Qcells, were selected.
Hanwha Qcells reportedly received relatively high scores in brand awareness and customer perception. In fact, it has been recognized multiple times in prestigious assessments, such as the "EUPD Top Brand" and "PVEL Top Performer" awards in major markets like the United States and Europe. According to market research firm Wood Mackenzie, Hanwha Qcells has ranked first in market share for residential and commercial solar modules in the United States for seven and six consecutive years, respectively.
