On September 29, the Gumi Office of Education in North Gyeongsang Province (Superintendent Min Byungdo) visited the local social welfare corporations Samsungwon and Dahamkkehaneungil (hereinafter Dahamgil) to deliver consolation gifts, aiming to share the warmth of Chuseok with everyone and ensure that no one in the community is left out during the holiday.

View original imageEvery year during major holidays, the office visits local social welfare facilities, as well as welfare centers for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities, to deliver gifts of consolation. Through these efforts, the office strives to care for marginalized neighbors, foster a joyful and inclusive educational environment in Gumi, and take the lead in empowering lives.
On this day, Superintendent Min Byungdo delivered snacks for 39 children at Samsungwon and daily necessities for 30 individuals with severe disabilities at Dahamgil, making it a meaningful occasion.
