'Natural Heritage of the Year' Stamp Tour Begins October 1
Jindo Dog, Jeongipumsong Pine Tree, Gosu Cave, and Jeongbang Waterfall Selected
The National Heritage Administration will hold the 'Natural Heritage Stamp Tour of the Year' from October 1 to December 31.
This event is part of the 'Natural Heritage Expedition Campaign,' which began last year. Natural heritage sites are selected through a nationwide survey. This year, over 5,000 people participated and chose the Jindo Dog of Jindo, Jeongipumsong Pine Tree of Songnisan in Boeun, Danyang Gosu Cave, and Jeongbang Waterfall in Seogwipo, Jeju.
Participants can visit these four sites and collect stamps in the stamp tour booklet. Those who visit the Natural Monument Center in Yuseong District, Daejeon, will receive a souvenir. The booklet and stamps can be obtained at the Jindo Dog Theme Park (Jindo, Jeollanam-do), Jeongipumsong Park (Boeun, Chungcheongbuk-do), Gosu Cave Exhibition Hall (Danyang, Chungcheongbuk-do), and Jeongbang Waterfall Information Center (Seogwipo, Jeju).
