Previously, on the 19th, a drug trafficking organization in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, kidnapped and brutally murdered three women, including a 15-year-old girl and her 20-year-old cousin.
The entire process of torturing and killing the victims was streamed live on Instagram, with 45 private accounts watching the real-time broadcast.
In the footage obtained by investigators, a man believed to be the leader of the organization is seen saying, "This is what happens if you steal my drugs."
The victims' bodies were found five days after they went missing, in the southern suburbs of Buenos Aires. Police believe the drug trafficking organization committed the crime as part of internal control measures and broadcast it live on social media.
Immediately after the incident, police arrested five suspects-three men and two women-but the main suspect, a man of Peruvian nationality, remains at large.
