Haeundae Bumin Hospital Welcomes New Emergency Medicine Staff Members
Haeundae Bumin Hospital (Director: Kang Daehwan) announced that, effective October 1, it has reorganized its emergency medicine team and recruited two new medical professionals. Through this personnel change, the hospital aims to further strengthen its 24-hour specialized and rapid emergency care capabilities.
Haeundae Bumin Hospital serves as a regional emergency medical center for the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam areas, providing care for numerous emergency patients and safeguarding the lives of local residents. The newly joined staff members are all board-certified surgeons with extensive clinical experience at university hospitals, particularly excelling in the treatment of critical and severe patients.
Manager Hyunseong Kim completed his internship, general surgery residency, and board certification at Pusan National University Hospital, and later served as a professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Pusan National University, where he was responsible for treating numerous emergency patients and providing education.
Manager Seogeol Kim completed his internship at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital, served as a breast and thyroid surgery fellow at Daegu Catholic University Hospital, and held the position of head of the Thyroid Center at Daerim St. Mary's Hospital before joining Haeundae Bumin Hospital.
With this reinforcement of its medical staff, Haeundae Bumin Hospital expects to provide more specialized and systematic responses in emergency situations where the golden hour is critical, such as trauma, cardiovascular diseases, and cerebrovascular diseases, thereby contributing to improved patient survival rates.
