The project includes a 60-meter tunnel and intersection improvements. The city plans to open some sections of the road first next year and aims to complete the entire project by the end of 2027.
The purpose of this road is to resolve the inconvenience caused by the lack of a direct connection between the two adjacent areas. Until now, the absence of a connecting road has caused difficulties not only for residents but also for companies in the Gajang Industrial Complex when transporting goods.
Despite the necessity of the road, the city had postponed the project due to financial constraints. However, since the launch of the 8th popularly elected administration, the introduction of a public contribution plan has enabled the project to move forward.
Once the road is completed, the city expects the two areas to be connected as a single living zone, improving access to educational, cultural, and welfare facilities.
