Culture Ministry Restores 2 of 64 Disrupted Systems... 60 to Be Restored Within Two Weeks
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the morning of September 29 that it had completed the restoration of 2 out of 64 systems that experienced disruptions due to a fire at the National Information Resources Service in Daejeon.
The restored systems, which are the Integrated Email for Public Officials and the Integrated Email for Public Officials (Mobile), have been operating normally since 6:30 a.m. on September 29.
The Ministry stated that it is making every effort to restore the remaining 62 systems and that 60 systems, including the ministry's main website and Korea.net, are expected to be restored within two weeks. However, it explained that the Policy Briefing website (including the mobile version) is expected to take a longer period for restoration, and that some services have been made available through a temporary website since 9:00 a.m. on the same day.

An official from the ministry stated that, in order to minimize inconvenience to the public, the ministry will continue to do its utmost to restore services in cooperation with related agencies such as the National Information Resources Service and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
