The letter for employees emphasizes the prohibition of exchanging gifts during holidays and personnel changes, as well as bans on seeking personal gain. The letter for residents shares the district’s commitment to integrity and encourages participation in fostering a culture of integrity during the holidays.
Additionally, participatory experience programs such as a “No Giving or Receiving Holiday Gifts” campaign within the district office, a “Integrity Four-Cut” photo booth featuring integrity slogans and props, and an “Integrity Quiz Game” will be operated to naturally encourage employees’ interest and practice in integrity.
For residents, information about the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and the corruption and public interest reporting system will be easily communicated through card news, with related information continuously provided online and via social media platforms.
Jin Gyohoon, mayor of Gangseo District, stated, “Integrity is the foundation of responsible administration and the starting point of residents’ trust,” adding, “We will do our utmost to firmly eradicate corrupt holiday practices and ensure all employees work toward a transparent Gangseo.” He further requested, “I ask for the active participation of all residents to enjoy a joyful Chuseok by conveying your hearts instead of gifts.”
