Eugene Investment & Securities Opens Brand Pop-up "Detox House"
Eugene Investment & Securities (Co-CEOs Yoo Changsoo and Ko Kyungmo) announced on September 29 that it will operate a brand pop-up space called "Detox House," where modern people can escape excessive digital dependence, connect with nature, and experience true relaxation.
With its vision to become a healthy financial company, Eugene Investment & Securities has launched this program to offer those overwhelmed by constant digital connectivity through smartphones and social media a chance to step away from daily routines, focus on themselves, and fully experience nature.
From September 27 to October 26, the brand pop-up space will be open for a month at the Namsan Seoul Tower Square. Themed "Digital Detox," it features hands-on programs open to everyone.
First, the "Smartphone Sealing Event" will take place. Participants seal their smartphones for a set period, freeing themselves from digital stimuli to immerse in self-reflection and enjoy the autumn scenery of Namsan. Those who complete the experience will receive various prizes, such as tickets to the Namsan Seoul Tower Observatory and coffee gift certificates.
Eugene Investment & Securities has created a camping-themed "Relax Zone" within the pop-up space, allowing participants to enjoy the atmosphere of Namsan while resting. Additional participatory programs, such as "Writing Poetry" and "Drawing," have been prepared to enhance the experience. Participants who share their experiences on Eugene Investment & Securities’ brand community "Eugene Live" will have a chance to win extra gifts through a drawing.
The "Namsan Forest Guided Walking Program" is also available. In this program, participants walk along lesser-known trails of Namsan with a professional forest guide for one hour, experiencing urban nature and gaining psychological stability and recovery. The program will be held 18 times in total, every weekend from October 11 to October 26. Each session is limited to 20 participants, and applications are accepted via Eugene Live until October 12. If applications exceed capacity, participants will be selected by drawing.
Eugene Investment & Securities expects that, as "Detox House" is held at Namsan Seoul Tower Square-a location newly spotlighted as a popular hotspot due to the global success of "K-Pop Demon Hunters"-many citizens will participate and experience the "Digital Detox" culture.
Under the slogan "Healthy Life, Healthy Investment," Eugene Investment & Securities has been running various campaigns to support a healthy lifestyle for the public. In the first half of the year, it hosted the "Eugene Running Crew (ERC) Class," where participants ran together around Yeouido and resolved their questions about running, and the "Find My Running Pace" program at Yeouinaru Station Runner's Station, where individuals could measure their running pace and receive personalized coaching. Currently, the company is also operating the "Eugene Art Check-in" campaign in collaboration with the Seoul Museum of Art, supporting citizens in enjoying a richer art-viewing experience.
