Choi Minshik and Han Sohee Begin Filming for "The Intern" on the 29th

The globally successful 2015 film "The Intern" is being remade as a Korean version.
On September 29, Warner Bros. Korea and Anthology Studio announced that filming has begun for "The Intern," starring Choi Minshik and Han Sohee. The story unfolds as Sunwoo, a passionate CEO of a fashion company, hires Giho, who has a wealth of life experience, as a senior intern.
Choi Minshik will play Giho, who joins a fashion company in search of a new life after retirement, while Han Sohee will portray Sunwoo, who runs the fashion startup Woo22. They will be joined by a supporting cast including Kim Geumsun, Kim Junhan, Ryu Hyeyoung, Kim Yohan, and Park Yeni.

The film will be directed by Kim Doyoung, known for "Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982." Set for release next year, it will explore generational conflict and empathy.
