During the strike, the city plans to mobilize all available transportation resources, including village buses, chartered buses, city-owned buses, and city buses not participating in the strike.
First, the city will concentrate and increase the frequency of village buses (81 routes) and non-striking city buses (17 routes) during commuting hours, and deploy additional reserve vehicles to connect with major subway stations.
Additionally, 10 chartered buses and 5 city-owned buses will be deployed to operate along Tongil-ro, Jungang-ro, and major hub stops during commuting hours to minimize inconvenience for residents.
The city has also requested cooperation from corporate and individual taxi operators to increase taxi availability around bus stops.
The city will operate an Emergency Transportation Countermeasure Headquarters, maintaining a 24-hour emergency response system until the strike ends, overseeing real-time situation management, vehicle deployment, and on-site response. At major bus stops, staff from the transportation bureau and other personnel will be stationed to provide guidance to residents.
