Korea Expressway Corporation Shares Achievements in Educational Innovation at Land, Infrastructure and Transport HRD Contest

Korea Expressway Corporation (President Ham Jingyu) announced on September 25 that it held the 14th Land, Infrastructure and Transport HRD Contest together with the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Human Resources Development Institute (Director Kim Eunkyung) at its Human Resources Development Institute in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, sharing achievements in educational innovation.

View original imageThe event was attended by 105 people, including officials from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and heads of education departments from 17 affiliated organizations. They shared the results of each institution in areas such as professional job training, AI-based education management, fostering female talent, and retraining programs for employees. Four outstanding cases were selected for presentation and awards.
The National Railway Authority won the Grand Prize with its case, "Challenging Zero Accident Rate through AI-based Problem-Based Learning," which trains on-site safety inspectors using action learning methods.
Korea Expressway Corporation received the Excellence Award for its case, "Education Changes the Way, Instilling Safety on Every Road," which transformed field training into experiential learning and expanded it to the private sector. In addition, it was recognized for its contribution to the Land, Infrastructure and Transport HRD exchange and cooperation project and received a commendation from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Kim Eunkyung, Director of the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Human Resources Development Institute, emphasized, "We will strengthen the foundation for cooperation between organizations and lead the future of talent development in the land and transport sector."
Kim Hyungman, Director of the Korea Expressway Corporation Human Resources Development Institute, also stated, "By sharing the experiences of each institution, this has become an opportunity to establish a public education system that fits the changing times."
