The evaluation selects outstanding local governments that have contributed to improving the oral health of local residents, and aims to vitalize oral health projects by discovering and spreading best practices.
In this year's evaluation, Wonju Public Health Center was highly recognized for operating customized oral health programs tailored to each stage of life, from infants and young children to people with disabilities and the elderly, in cooperation with related organizations such as the Wonju District Dental Association.
In particular, it was the only institution in the province to be selected for the 'Pilot Project for Pediatric Dental Home Services under National Health Insurance,' and its efforts and achievements in providing continuous oral health management services from childhood were acknowledged.
