Seoul Facilities Corporation to Open 57 Public Parking Lots Free of Charge During Chuseok Holiday
From October 3 to 9,
Including Downtown and Transfer Parking Lots
On September 26, Seoul Facilities Corporation (Chairman Han Kyungyoung) announced that, in celebration of the Chuseok holiday, it will open 57 public parking lots operated by the corporation free of charge to enhance citizen convenience and vitalize the local economy.
The free parking period will run for seven days, from October 3 to October 9, during the Chuseok holiday, and will be available for use by all citizens without restriction. The parking lots to be opened include not only those in downtown and commercial areas such as Jongmyo, Dongdaemun (DDP Fashion Mall), and Cheonho Station, but also suburban transfer parking lots such as Bokjeong Station, Cheonwang Station, and Dobongsan Station.
Additionally, parking lots near major tourist attractions in downtown Seoul, including Cheonggyecheon, Euljiro, and Yeouido, as well as key parking lots near Sadang Station and Sincheon Retarding Basin, will also be available free of charge. This initiative is expected to improve mobility for both citizens and tourists visiting Seoul and to help boost local businesses.
