To address this issue, the city has decided to expand public sports facilities in Baegot Saengmyeong Park, which is adjacent to the school, and provide them for school use.
For this purpose, the city will begin design services within this month, revise the development plan for Baegot Saengmyeong Park next month, and reflect these changes in the supplementary budget. Construction is scheduled to start in November, with completion planned for the first half of next year.
The new sports facilities will include a futsal field, a basketball court, and a running track. During weekdays, the facilities will be used for students' physical education classes, and at other times, they will be open to local residents.
