Teenager Goes Missing After Jumping In to Save Friend Who Fell Into Sea...Coast Guard Searching
A teenager who tried to save a friend who had fallen into the sea has gone missing, prompting a search by the Coast Guard.
According to the Gunsan Coast Guard on September 26, at around 6:50 a.m. near Dongbaek Bridge in Haemang-dong, Gunsan, North Jeolla Province, a teenage girl (referred to as A) fell into the sea. Upon witnessing this, a teenage boy (referred to as B) called the Coast Guard and then jumped into the water to rescue his friend A, but subsequently disappeared.
The Coast Guard, who responded to the scene, managed to rescue A, but have not yet found B.
