According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the earthquake's location was at latitude 35.40 degrees north and longitude 127.91 degrees east, with a depth of 13 kilometers.
The maximum seismic intensity was recorded at III (Gyeongnam).
This level means that people indoors, especially those on upper floors, could clearly feel the tremor, and stationary vehicles might shake slightly.
Fortunately, there were no reports of people feeling the earthquake or any related damage within Gyeongnam Province.
