Driver Goes Missing After Parking on Incheon Bridge... Fourth Incident This Month
The Coast Guard has launched a search after another driver went missing after parking their vehicle on the shoulder of the Incheon Bridge.
According to the Incheon Coast Guard on September 26, at approximately 3:39 a.m. that day, the Incheon Bridge control room reported to the Coast Guard that "a person fell into the sea after stopping their vehicle." Upon arriving at the scene, the Coast Guard discovered a vehicle parked on the shoulder near the main tower of the bridge and believes that the driver, a man in his 40s identified as Mr. A, fell into the water. Three patrol vessels have been deployed to search the surrounding waters. Including Mr. A, there have been a total of four incidents this month involving drivers stopping on the Incheon Bridge and then falling.
