Seongnam Love Gift Certificates: 100 Billion Won Issued with 10% Special Discount for Chuseok
Monthly Purchase Limit Raised from 200,000 to 400,000 Won for October

Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Shin Sangjin) announced on September 26 that it will offer a special 10% discount on Seongnam Love Gift Certificates, totaling 100 billion won, ahead of Chuseok, the largest traditional holiday in Korea. The initiative aims to ease the burden on citizens' grocery shopping and invigorate local businesses.
Previously, Seongnam Love Gift Certificates were sold at a 6-7% discount, but this time, the special discount has been increased to 10%. The certificates will be available for purchase at this rate from October 1 to October 31. In addition, to provide greater benefits to citizens, the monthly purchase limit per person will be raised from the current 200,000 won to 400,000 won.
Anyone can purchase Seongnam Love Gift Certificates regardless of their address, and they can be used at affiliated stores within Seongnam City. Mobile certificates can be purchased by those aged 14 and older through the regional gift certificate Chak app, while paper certificates are available to those aged 18 and older at NH Nonghyup Bank, agricultural and livestock cooperatives, credit unions, and Saemaul Geumgo branches within Seongnam City.
