This initiative was organized to participate in the government's proposed "National Cleanup Campaign" and was conducted in line with the "Korea Renewal Week," which takes place ahead of the Chuseok holiday and the APEC Summit.
Despite the rainy weather, about 20 members of the "Eusseuk (ESG) Volunteer Group," composed of executives and employees of the corporation, along with local residents, participated in the cleanup. They focused on cleaning roads near the market, the surrounding commercial areas, and zones vulnerable to household waste.
