Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae Provides 'Shared Vehicles' to Social Welfare Council and Service Institute

View original imageThe Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on September 25 that it had provided two shared vehicles (Solati, 15-seater) to the Gwangju Social Welfare Council and the Gwangju Social Service Institute as part of its shared vehicle support project.
The handover ceremony, held on September 22 at the Gwangju Social Welfare Council, was attended by Koo Jegil, Chairman of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, Kim Younggi, Chairman of the Gwangju Social Welfare Council, and Kim Daesam, Director of the Gwangju Social Service Institute, the organizations receiving the vehicle support.
The vehicles provided on this day will be used to support smooth service delivery by allowing local social welfare organizations and facilities to rent the vehicles when needed for providing social welfare services.
Koo Jegil, Chairman of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, stated, "I hope that the supported vehicles will help enhance social welfare services in the Gwangju area," and added, "We will continue to take the lead in addressing welfare issues in Gwangju in the future."

Meanwhile, any social welfare organization or facility located in Gwangju can apply to rent and use the shared vehicles through the websites of the Gwangju Social Welfare Council or the Gwangju Social Service Institute.
