Korea National Railway to Hire 195 New Employees in Second Half... Applications Open Early Next Month
The Korea National Railway announced on September 25 that it will hire 195 new employees in the second half of this year.
The recruitment by category includes 69 general positions, 10 veterans, 15 high school graduates, 1 technical position, 25 practical positions, and 75 experiential youth interns.
By job series (excluding youth interns), the organization will hire 15 for general administration, 9 for real estate administration, 30 for civil engineering, 7 for architecture, 8 for electrical (electric railway power), 7 for electrical (signals), 7 for communications, 11 for mechanical, 1 for technical (equipment and vehicle transport), 23 for national key facility security, 1 for building security, and 1 for civil service guidance.
The real estate administration series is being newly established in this recruitment to select professionals specializing in land compensation. This is part of an effort to strengthen job-oriented recruitment and personnel management.
Additionally, to enhance meaningful participation in work for experiential youth interns, the organization will introduce a new 'intern-suitable job system' and pilot it for six months in the first half of next year.
Applications will be accepted through the Korea National Railway recruitment website from October 2 to October 9.

Final candidates will be selected through document screening, a written test, and interviews. The successful applicants are expected to be announced in December.
