"Buy Affordable Chuseok Gifts at the Silver Market"
Up to 50% Off at Namdo Marketplace Online Store
Jeollanam-do is launching the "Silver Market" discount promotion on the Namdo Marketplace, its online shopping mall, ahead of the Chuseok holiday. The event will feature products produced and processed directly by seniors.
The Silver Market is a program that supports both online and offline sales and promotion of goods produced and processed by seniors from 35 senior job community groups. The initiative aims to raise awareness about products made by seniors and to help increase their income.
In particular, for this Chuseok, the Silver Market on Namdo Marketplace is offering discounts of up to 50 percent, giving customers an opportunity to purchase holiday gifts at reasonable prices.
Main products featured in the promotion include: kimchi varieties from the Yeosu Senior Club; processed anchovy and nurungji sets from the Suncheon Senior Club; sesame nurungji from the Goheung Senior Club; green tea oil sets from the Boseong Senior Club; and seaweed and citron-apple juice sets from the Wando Senior Club, among others.
These products are available not only online but also at offline retail locations.
Jeong Gwangseon, Director of Health and Welfare at Jeollanam-do, stated, "The Silver Market is more than just a place to sell products made by seniors; it is a platform for intergenerational sharing and connection." He added, "We will continue to actively promote products made by seniors to support their healthy social engagement and provide sustainable job opportunities."
