"Don't Worry About Parking" ... Changwon Special City to Open Lotte Department Store Masan Branch Parking Lot for Free
Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province announced that, ahead of Chuseok, the nation’s traditional holiday, it will provide free parking for five days from October 1 to October 5 at the annex parking lot of the former Lotte Department Store Masan branch. This initiative aims to offer greater parking convenience for citizens visiting Masan Fish Market and to revitalize traditional markets.
The spaces being opened this time are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, totaling 113 parking spots. This measure goes beyond simply providing parking; it is a meaningful policy designed to stimulate local consumption and support small business owners. The city also expects to see increased sales through the use of the Changwon Love Gift Certificate, “Nubijeon.”
In addition to leasing and operating the parking lot, the city plans to deploy professional safety management personnel on-site and has secured personal and property insurance to ensure the safety of citizens and facilities.
