This event has been organized to share with the local community the changes that will take place as Uijeongbu Technical High School transitions to 'Korea Mobility High School' starting in the 2026 academic year. The event will provide information on the new school name, departmental restructuring, expanded student recruitment units, as well as the high school admissions process and curriculum.

The main programs of the event include: △Capstone Design Project open classes and exhibitions, △an entrance information session for middle school administrators, teachers, students, and parents, △mobility department experience programs, △mobility sports experiences, and △consultations on university admissions and employment opportunities for high school graduates.

The mobility department experience program will feature booths where participants can directly engage in representative hands-on projects from four departments (△Mobility Smart City Department, △Mobility Energy Department, △Mobility Smart Factory Department, △Mobility Motors Department). Attendees will also be able to view departmental project outcomes and receive tailored career and employment counseling for each department.

In addition, the Uijeongbu Technical High School Alumni Association and the Parent Association will participate to offer a variety of programs, including drone and VR experiences, a photo zone, booths for career and academic counseling, and snack sharing, allowing participants to enjoy and experience the future vision of the school.

Notably, this event will also feature open classes and an exhibition of project outcomes from the 'Capstone Design Project' supervised by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education. The open classes will showcase creative problem-solving skills through practice-based project activities, such as entrepreneurship education-based wooden house construction, global online Zoom classes (in collaboration with Taichung Municipal Rih-Nan Junior High School), and partnership classes with professional institutions for electric charging facility management (Korea Automobile Environmental Association). Participants will have the opportunity to observe these activities firsthand.

Principal Kim Juhan stated, "This entrance information session and career experience program is a meaningful occasion to showcase not only the new departmental structure and educational vision of Korea Mobility High School, but also the creativity and practical skills of our students." He added, "I hope students and parents will participate together and experience the appeal of future mobility education."

Meanwhile, over the past two years, Uijeongbu Technical High School has established the '2030 Uijeongbu Technical High School Mid- to Long-Term Development Plan' and has been leading the future of vocational education in Korea by implementing a variety of initiatives, including the Specialized High School Future Competency Enhancement Project, the Future-Oriented Vocational Education Model School, the Entrepreneurship Experience Hub School, and the Field Training Hub School. The school is also taking the lead in enhancing students' global competitiveness through international exchanges and joint online classes with overseas vocational high schools.
