Visitor Safety as the Top Priority
Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Donghwan) announced on September 24 that it will conduct nighttime patrols on the shared bicycle and pedestrian paths until October 1 to ensure the safety of visitors to the '2025 Goyang Lake Arts Festival' and the '2025 Goyang Autumn Flower Festival.'

View original imageThe Ilsan Park Management Division's security officers and the Ilsan Lake Park illegal activity enforcement team will conduct joint inspections. The inspections will cover single-file riding, safe bicycle operation within the 20 km/h speed limit, and restrictions on the entry of powered devices such as electric scooters. The patrols will also crack down on illegal activities such as smoking and unauthorized sales.
The city plans to enforce these regulations and will take administrative actions such as imposing fines and issuing warnings when violations are detected.
In particular, the city aims to ensure the successful hosting of the events by facilitating organic and prompt cooperation through a group KakaoTalk chatroom operated between security officers and nighttime patrol departments.
