Onnuri Gift Certificate Affiliates, Now Easily Found on the Map
A new service has been launched that makes it easy to find among the more than 130,000 Onnuri Gift Certificate affiliated stores nationwide.
The Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS) announced on September 25 that it has fully introduced a 'map-based affiliate store search' service on the Onnuri Gift Certificate website, significantly improving the convenience of using Onnuri Gift Certificates and marking a new turning point for revitalizing the local economy.
Previously, consumers had to check the list of paper gift certificate affiliates on the website, while digital gift certificate affiliates had to be checked through a separate application, which caused inconvenience. This led to criticism that the usage rate of Onnuri Gift Certificates was declining.
The core of this update is that information on both paper and digital affiliates is now integrated and provided on a single map.
In particular, by utilizing the Naver Map API, which has the largest number of monthly active users in Korea, consumers can intuitively check the locations and number of affiliated stores without complicated procedures.
The service has also greatly enhanced search convenience. Users can search by ▲region (city, county, or district), ▲area (traditional market, shopping street, or others), ▲store name, as well as by nine business categories including ▲agricultural products, ▲livestock products, ▲marine products, ▲clothing and footwear, and ▲restaurants (multiple categories can be searched simultaneously) to find customized information.
This service is built on data from the Onnuri Gift Certificate Integrated Management System, ensuring that the latest information managed by SEMAS is updated.
SEMAS expects that this update will increase the utilization of Onnuri Gift Certificates and have a positive impact on sales in traditional markets and local commercial districts.
