Kakao Pay Adds Point Rewards for Samsung Pay Card Payments
Earn Up to Two Times the Points When Using Samsung Pay
Kakao Pay announced on September 24 that it will now offer Kakao Pay Points for payments made with credit and debit cards through the Samsung Pay feature within Kakao Pay at offline stores.
Previously, users could only earn Kakao Pay Points when making payments at offline stores using Kakao Pay Money (prepaid balance).
With this update, users who pay with credit or debit cards registered to Samsung Pay through Kakao Pay can now also accumulate points.
Kakao Pay has continuously expanded its payment options and benefits. In addition to Kakao Pay Money and credit or debit cards, it has integrated Samsung Pay and Zero Pay. Last month, Kakao Pay even connected mobile vouchers received through the 'KakaoTalk Gift' service as a payment method, further enhancing the convenience and range of benefits for offline payments.
