[Chuseok Gifts] Dongwon F&B Unveils Over 100 Types of Chuseok Gift Sets
Dongwon F&B has launched over 100 types of "2025 Chuseok Gift Sets."
Dongwon F&B has expanded the supply of gift sets composed solely of Dongwon Tuna, including the "BTS Jin Super Tuna Gift Set" featuring Jin of BTS, the brand model for Dongwon Tuna, by 30 percent. The company also increased the quantity of practical comprehensive gift sets-combining bestsellers like Dongwon Tuna and Richam with seasonings such as tuna extract, cooking oil, and salt-by more than 30 percent.
The "Yangban Jeju Hijiki Seaweed Set," prepared in partnership with Jeju Island, is also being introduced for the first time. Dongwon F&B signed an "MOU for Strengthening Jeju Seafood" with Jeju Island in January. The company has also prepared brand collaboration products. In partnership with Vivid Kitchen, the low-sugar, low-calorie sauce brand from Dongwon Home Food, its B2B comprehensive food affiliate, Dongwon F&B has launched "Vivid Kitchen Special No. 3."
Dongwon F&B (then Dongwon Industries) first introduced Dongwon gift sets for Chuseok in 1984. At that time, a can of tuna cost about 1,000 won and was considered a premium food, but Dongwon Tuna gift sets gained popularity, selling 300,000 sets during the first holiday season after launch. Since then, cumulative sales surpassed 100 million sets in 2006, and in 2024, exceeded 250 million sets. Recently, more than 10 million sets are sold annually.
