Earn 5 Stars for Every 10,000 Won Spent with the Starbucks Samsung Card
Exclusive Benefits and Services for Starbucks Rewards Members
On September 24, Starbucks Korea announced the launch of a co-branded card with Samsung Card, offering Starbucks Rewards members the benefit of earning additional Stars.
When using the Starbucks Samsung Card as a credit card, members will earn 5 Starbucks Rewards Stars for every 10,000 won spent at Starbucks stores. For purchases made outside of Starbucks stores, members will receive 1 Star for every 30,000 won spent.
Additionally, members can simultaneously accumulate other types of Stars, such as Visit Stars, Eco Stars, and Event Stars, which are provided to Starbucks Rewards members. This means that with a single payment, customers can enjoy the benefits offered by both the Starbucks Samsung Card and the Starbucks prepaid card.
The number of Starbucks Rewards members is currently approaching 15 million. Once registered, members can enjoy personalized benefits, including a variety of exchange coupons for beverages, food, merchandise, and size upgrades, based on the number of Stars accumulated.
Through the launch of the new card, Starbucks aims to provide even more enhanced and personalized benefits and services to Starbucks Rewards members. The company also plans to collaborate with Samsung Card on card operations and joint marketing initiatives. The annual fee for the Starbucks Samsung Card is 30,000 won.
The Starbucks Samsung Card will also be available as a debit card starting on September 29. The debit card has no annual fee and allows members to earn 2 Stars for every 10,000 won spent at Starbucks stores.
