The purpose of this event was to help housing-vulnerable individuals who have moved into public rental housing enhance their psychological stability and build social networks through resident-led community activities, thereby alleviating social isolation and preventing them from becoming vulnerable again.
The event was attended by invited households and employees of the corporation. After the event, participants spent time conversing with one another. The corporation distributed prepared Gangjeong and holiday foods to all attendees.
An elderly participant at the event expressed gratitude, saying, "I used to feel lonely spending holidays alone, but making Songpyeon together allowed me to experience the warmth of community, which was truly wonderful."
President Kim Seungnam stated, "Although it is a small gesture, it was meaningful to reflect on the spirit of sharing with neighbors during the holiday," and added, "We will continue to create various opportunities to support and engage with marginalized neighbors in the community."
